This was one of the most interesting projects throughout my time at ASU! When identifying the inspiration project I wanted to follow, I was captivated by Priya Parker’s The Art of Gathering: How We Meet and Why it Matters. This essay outlined the reasoning for social gathering and how we can create more cohesive spaces in both the professional and private world by being methodical about our planning. Certain aspects, like menu prepping and timeline spacing, are related in both corporate and interpersonal events. These specific pieces of the some of the most important aspects of a well-designed gathering that can be used to create fruitful dialog.
