Professional Goals

Defining professional goals for someone who changes their professional image every three months.

My professionals revolve around specific quota attainment levels for my sales role, as well as the measurable development of my small business. I work in software sales, and am working toward becoming an Account Executive over the next few months. I will also begin my launch for my online media brand Auburn Collective, with a slower guideline for success attainment as I navigate the process of developing a strong brand identity.

Goals for 2026:

Sales:
S: Hit quota attainment at 100% or higher every month
M: Quota will be measured by number of appointments booked, and how many accounts were closed.
A: Ramp-up period will allow for adequate training to hit goals, and goals are attainable through management guidelines.
R: Hitting 100% quota attainment builds my value as an ADR, and will allow me to be an aggressive candidate for promotion into the Account Executive role.
T: Deadline to hit 100% attainment will be March 2027, a full year cycle within the ADR role.

S: Overachieve on quota and place within the top 25% of ADRs QoQ for 2026
M: Quota will be measured by a number of appointments booked and how many accounts closed, with a percentage number being attached. This number will be compared to other ADRs within the office.
A: Quota is measured personally, but will also be measured against other ADRs within the company. The measurement is based on personal attainment, not gross production. This will allow me to work hard to overachieve my own goal in comparison to other sales representatives.
R: Overachieving compared to my peers will build additional value for me as an ADR and will make me a better candidate for quicker promotion into the Account Executive role.
T: Deadline to hit these goals will be based on Quarters, as determined by the business. Q1: Jan-Mar, Q2: Apr-Jun, Q3: Jul-Sep, Q4: Oct-Dec.

Auburn Collective:
S:
Create a strong brand identity and branding sheet, with logos, color palettes, media and marketing strategies, as well as proof of concept.
M: This will be measured by the successful creation of a POC display, with all relevant information compiled for the successful start of the business.
A: One full year cycle is plenty of time to develop this POC, while maintaining a larger focus on my ADR role.
R: Creating this proof of concept and brand imaging will lay the groundwork for a successful start to a business that I would like to run full-time in the near future. This will allow me to have a strong brand identity before creating content and products.
T: Deadline to creation is one calendar year, December 2026 will be the deadline for creation.

S: Send proof of concept to potential stakeholders for printing, attain a marketing firm that will help in pushing the brand forward.
M: Measurable by contracts signed for marketing partnership
A: This will be attainable by honing my presentation and rebuttals skills, as well as cold calling and emailing to reach companies. I already have several contacts within the media and marketing world, and will lean on them for support in finding stakeholders for this concept.
R: Partnering with a marketing company will help to solidify the concept and development of the business, helping to create a more seamless launch as a whole.
T: Deadline for this goal is 2 years or less dependent on time available to be spent working toward this goal in conjunction with career needs.
