Professional Goals
My professional goals have changed as frequently as the weather in Arizona, but I have begun to identify and create a professional brand for myself that encompasses my goals.
Rather than going for a specific job title, I have developed a five-year plan to achieve my professional goals. My goal, no matter how insane it has sounded, has been to “not have a boss” and I have been fortunate enough to work toward that goal so far. I have always loved building brands and small businesses, but I have honed in on one that I believe would actually “work”.
Goals for 2026:
1. Begin content creation for Auburn Collective.
- Develop and lock in the aesthetic language.
- Build consistent content pillars (culture, faith, education, travel, femininity).
- Grow a following of 5,000 on TikTok and Instagram.
2. Begin to consistently hit $10,000 ALP per month for my financial planning role. Continuously expand my book of business.
- About 7-8 policies per month that net, I am currently writing 3-4 per month.
3. Publish my first ICA conference paper.
Goals for 2027:
1. Begin taking a step back from the consultative aspect of Foundations First Group to focus more on Auburn Collective. Continue to grow content.
- Residuals and renewals to replace active policy-writing income.
- Start seriously recruiting and developing new agents (I have two right now in 2026).
2. Begin hosting small brands and organizations on Auburn Collective social media pages.
- Collaborate with thinkers and other creators online.
- Begin the process of speaking publicly (the ultimate goal would be university-level).
- Host local “think tank” events for Auburn Collective.
3. Post one long-form essay per month on Auburn Letters.
4. Publish my second ICA conference paper.
Goals for 2028:
1. Step back completely from client consulting. Focus solely on development and recruitment for Foundations First Group.
- This would entail having 3-4 solid consultants writing 20-30,000 in ALP per month.
2. Fully step into the roles associated with Auburn Collective through content trips, take my first international content trip.
3. Consistently posting two long-form essays per month on Auburn Letters.
4. Curate digital products on Auburn Collective.
- Digital travel guides.
- Monetize Auburn Letters.
- Monetized monthly newsletter.
5. Publish my third ICA conference paper.
6. Begin formulating my first post-grad academic paper.
Goals for 2029:
1. Foundations First Group will be self-functioning.
2. Explore post-grad education options. Maybe a masters’ degree. This is just for the academic pursuit.
3. Host an Auburn Collective dinner with thinkers, creators, and brands to collaborate.
4. Expand strategic partnerships with Auburn Collective.
